More Than Food
Looking over my collection of glass jars I smile. They used to hold store-bought sauces, dips, and pickled everything. Once they were empty, I never quite knew what to do with them.
Now they hold cooked beans, rice, herbs, homemade stock, sauces, salads, and whatever I've meal-prepped that week.
I stopped buying things in jars. I started buying more fresh food. I began cooking from scratch.
Every one of those jars reminds me that a second life often brings unexpected gifts... and possibilities.
I don't have to depend on imported food. I can build my own freedom.
